Christian Tissier’s demonstration against Karate attacks

Quantity:

This video captures the demonstration given by Christian Tissier, 7th dan, in 1998 where he shows various techniques against a large, well-trained karateka. It’s very interesting to note Tissier Sensei’s excellent composure and timing as the karateka readies to attack.

The Karateka only did head high kicks to attack, and this is hard to succeed with. Tissier got in trouble when he went on the attack, which is foreign to many Aikido practitioners. Interesting to watch.
