This video features 8th dan Seishiro Endo of the Aikikai Hombu Dojo. Endo Sensei was one of the last generation of junior instructors cycling through the Aikikai while Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba was still alive. He is now one of the senior instructors within the Aikikai system.

Here is this demonstration you will see his soft approach to aikido where he eschews displays of physical strength in order to deftly blend with attacks. Endo Sensei has developed a high-degree of sensitivity and this clip offers a good opportunity to study his advanced approach to the art based on nearly 50 years of experience.
